The Social Butterflies Club™ Social Skills Group
The Social Butterflies Club ™ was founded in 2004 by Rhonda Osisek M.S., CCC-SLP. Rhonda created this program for a few of her clients that were having trouble interacting at school. Rhonda developed a training program to allow others to learn to implement Social Skills Groups.
Here at Speech Connections we saw a need to provide direct instruction in pragmatic language during interactive group activities for children with a variety of needs. Pragmatic skills are the foundation to language skills and include eye contact, turn-taking, requesting information/objects, appropriate answering of “wh” questions, appropriate responses to greetings and recognizing verbal and nonverbal social cues.
Red Social Butterflies Group November 11 - December 9. New group forming for January 2012.
Our Middle School and High School Social Skills groups now forming to begin January 9, 2012. This will be a six week program at a cost of $300.00. Please call for more information and to schedule initial screening.
